Nature loves us
There is something so simply lovely to know that the plants you lovingly worked with, studied, melded into elixirs, oxymels, salves and essences are ready to share. These plants are beautiful, wise, and so imbued with love. Because at the core: Nature loves us. I don’t know why, but I see it in how much it reaches out with ancient healing knowledge, continuous cycles to keep us alive and thriving and gives us a much needed soft place to land. Part of being a herbalist is learning that truth and letting it settle in deep in my tissue and bone. It has anchored me in tumultuous times and ones of pure joy (like when I birthed my babies).
There is something for you
So, whether it is trying to shore up your body from this onslaught of sicknesses, or finding ways to speed up recovery if you are unwell or maybe it runs deeper into surviving and trying to escape abuse (emotional, psychological, physical, financial, all of them), there is something for you, to start you on your journey.
