Lunar Eclipse / Beaver moon

I spent the Beaver Full Moon eclipse, moon gazing. It didn’t matter how many pictures I tried to take, nothing could capture the dreamy mystical pull. I had to try though. There hasn’t been a lunar eclipse like this in 580 years.

Full moons are for releasing, celebrating, cleansing, charging or other rituals that bring us back to the magnetic draw.

The planets and stars, the Earth and all its herbs and plants in this system are constantly working together to bring balance and health. With the constant chaos that is everyday life and the headlines that trigger bouts of discouragement and anxiety, it has become a balm to me to take note of what the seasons are doing and slow down.

Whether it’s brewing a tea and saying ‘thanks’ that I’ve been given a new day or letting go of what I can’t control: it helps bring me back to myself.

How will you slow down with the seasons?

Plant: Ginseng – to help handle stress and change

Crystal: Citrine – November’s golden hued jewel for motivation, sun-like warmth and creativity

Beaver moon: Named so for by indigenous people for the busy beaver preparing for winter.
