Part of the beauty of working with herbs is learning to slow down and listen. I wanted to be at the point I am now earlier this summer, but I wanted the products to be real and true. And when making infused oils from scratch: that takes time.
Calendula, Lemon Balm and St John’s Wort is what I worked on until the weeks and colors of the oils were deep enough and ready. After looking at the finished products, the waiting definitely paid off.
As of today, Olea Apothecary now has Vapor rubs and Cold Sore salves ready for purchase. Each product was made with base oils that support and encourage healing and essential oils to bolster the goodness.
With the weather turning to snow flurries and frozen nights, getting rid of colds has become most of our main priorities. These two products are sure to help the body recover faster, whilst being gentle and smelling good, too.
