Today I woke up to the happiest news. I was selected to be sponsored to attend the most prized conference for black herbalists, hosted by none other than: Empress Karen Rose. She’s on Instagram sharing her well earned wisdom to better our lives and enrich the community, but you should also check out her beautiful website: sacredvibeshealing.com It is a feast of knowledge; color; beauty; fragrance and a deep respect of this Earth we’re upon.

When I read the email, I lay still, smiling the widest grin and then I realized I was crying. Have you ever felt gratitude so deep it just makes you weep, silent, true tears? I am thankful to the generous souls who enabled me and others to go when we’re still in the early years of our herbalism journeys. I am over the moon about the panelists; speakers; mentors and towering talent that will all be together virtually to inspire and encourage each other.

A lot of my thanks goes to those who came before me and continue to watch out for me. I am never alone and this life as a steward of the Earth shows me so.
